NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor,  Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. The Board of Directors may, at any time during this meeting, retire to a closed meeting pursuant to §551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code to seek the advice from its attorney on any subject slated for discussion or action on the agenda.  Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

The following items are of a routine or administrative nature. The Drainage District #1 Board has been furnished with background and support on each item, and/or it has been discussed at a previous meeting. All items will be acted upon by one vote without being discussed separately unless requested by a Board Member, in which event the item or items will immediately be withdrawn for individual consideration in its normal sequence after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon. The remaining items will be adopted by one vote.

 
             
1.   Approval of check register and payment of claims and bills - County Treasurer
 
2.   2012 Bond Referendum - 2013 Bond Series:
 
A. 77159   Approval to issue payment on the following item proceeding review & compliance of contract terms and conditions:
Budget 360-Delta Region Water Mgt Project
1. Invoice No. 10033291 in the amount of $15,693.32 for professional services through January 26, 2020.
2. Invoice No. 10036791 in the amount of $22,910.10 for professional services through April 12, 2020.
3. Invoice No. 10037929 in the amount of $17,768.52 for professional services through May 10, 2020.

3.   2018 Bond Referendum:
 
A. 77168   Approval to issue payment on the following item proceeding review & compliance of contract terms and conditions:
Budget 526-Mission Lateral
1. Invoice No. 11328226 in the amount of $23,757.09 from L&G Consulting Engineers, Inc. for professional services for July 2020. PO#637849.
 
B. 77143   Ratification of the fully executed Change Order No. 1 reflecting ninety-two (92) additional construction calendar days, in connection with contract No. C-HCDD1-19-074-11-26 -Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 "Mission Lateral (Section I) -2018 Bond Referendum project #26" with Saenz Brothers Construction as recommended by project engineer, Damien B. Tijerina, P.E., L&G Engineering, and approved by HCDD1 General Manager, Mr. Raul E. Sesin, P.E., CFM. (subject to compliance to HB1295).

Approval to issue payment on Invoice No. U9444.103/812-22.06 in the amount of $31,000.00 from S&B Infrastructure, Ltc. for professional services April 2020. PO#637332-20
